Spectre Deluxe GoldtopAhh, gold is good. This guitar has a fantastic sound. It has a cherrywood top mated to a redwood body. I originally finished it in a sunburst but was a bit underwhelmed by its look. That was a shame because, as I said, it sounded fantastic! I felt obliged to try and match its looks more to its sound and gold always pops doesn't it? There is now a sunburst lurking under that gold top that may someday be revealed by enthusiastic and determined play ;^) The pickups are Lollar Low Wind Imperials, which to my ears are some of the finest humbucker tones available.
