I designed the Skylighter to be a guitar for as many situations as possible. The custom wound Gemini pickups are built with Alnico V magnets and balance beautifully. They are controlled by a six position Freeway switch, which yields all S-type tones as well as a Neck/Bridge combination. The tone knob pulls to split the humbucker and provides a single coil in the bridge position. The German carved top is matched on the back with stepped level comfort carves. These represent a novel and functional approach to guitar ergonomics, giving easier access at the neck joint and relief with the tummy and thigh cuts. This is a guitar that excels in any musical situation.
