Custom Norwich Bass

The Norwich Bass was a very special commission. Many specifications, both technical and aesthetic were required to bring it off properly. It is a 30" scale fitted with piccolo bass strings. The pickups were custom wound by Roadhouse Pickups to enable mono and bi-amp operations. When in stereo mode, the E string pickup is sent to its own amp and the ADG pickups are sent to their respective amp. When set to mono operation the E pickup runs in series with the ADG. The heavy relic idea enabled me to utilize the requested color palette in a novel and striking way. The result, a wild and functional bass with great musicality.
